My Shop

I have an open air shop under a deck on my house.  It can be a little chilly in the winter.  It is almost always messy so to be transparent (as all our politicians are) I thought I would take a picture without trying to put the roos spin on it.  I am always in the throes of putting things away and in this picture it looks like I haven’t done that in a long time.  I have a large table saw, a small table saw, a band saw, a chop saw, a jig saw, 2 chain saws, an oscillating saw, a sawzall, two skill saws, plus a special skill saw that slides on a track and some Japanese hand saws.  (I use them all and I still have 9 fingers.)  I have a shaper, a planer, two routers, a small drill press and so many other little hand and electric tools that it boggles my mind.  I have two compressors, three nail guns, power sanders, grinders and a vice that I am almost sure belonged to Sandy’s grandfather.  He was a blacksmith and he made many things.  I have all sorts of clamps to hold things in place and I have a beautiful lathe that often scares the booties off of me.  And I have the most patient of wives who allows me to have the mess you see below, under our house.
